About Paul Johnson
Paul was born in Detroit, Michigan and has lived in the Oakland County Michigan area his whole life. As a child his parents always had new camera equipment and took family and vacation pictures at every opportunity. They began with print film and then slides. After leaving home and marrying his wife (Marietta) He began buying good point and shoot cameras and then upgraded to adjustable cameras but never really got serious until after a small gathering for their 25th wedding anniversary when none of the pictures came out.
Shortly thereafter their first grandchild was expected. In preparation for this event he bought his first Nikon SLR camera a N70 and a 28-300 lens. This time he also read the manual cover to cover and discovered the purpose of each setting and button, he also began using the camera regularly. Since that time he has taken pictures around the country, won a number of photography awards, has upgraded his Nikon equipment and lenses many times, his library is filled with photography books. He is currently using a Nikon D800.
At the urging of friends and family He created this website to share the images and offer them for sale.
P.S. Paul will donate all profit from this site to worldwide missions.
